art prints

whether you find solace in a garden, forest, or by the ocean, find a piece of art to remind you of the place or season where you feel most peaceful.

meet the artist

Hi! I'm Lauren Kathleen, an illustrator, painter and poet living and working on Kaurna land in Adelaide, South Australia, from my studio at The Mill.

I feel most joyful and at peace in nature, hence the inspiration behind my art, through which I hope to share that feeling with others. I aim to keep nature lovers like myself feeling connected to the earth and to themselves even when they can't be immersed in the natural world.

When I'm not creating, you can find me wandering through a garden, playing music, or perusing an art gallery or book shop, filling my creative cup. I am most inspired by the vastness of nature, connection, memory, and trains journeys.

the wandering days - poems

The Wandering Days touches on the aimlessness of growing up, and the endless figuring out that comes with it. At their core, these poems are about love: falling out of love, falling in love - with others, the world, nature, and yourself. Love can exist in all sorts of small and big ways, and these poems celebrate that, finding comfort and home in nature and connection.

The Wandering Days is about discovering beauty in the world and the everyday, as we try to embed ourselves into the ever-changing present.

Join me on this meandering journey, and never stop wandering.

I live and work on Kaurna country in Adelaide, South Australia. I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land that inspires me and recognise their continuing connection to the land and wildlife and pay my deepest respects to the elders past and present.
